LORI WILLCOX,

3 Guineas President, has spent her career assisting not-for-profits get to where they need to go – in fundraising, marketing and organizational management.

She is a respected management professional with over 25 years of business leadership experience gained through both her consulting portfolio and through employment with some of Canada’s best loved arts organizations.

Prior to forming 3 Guineas in 2008, Lori was Vice-President of Marketing & Sponsorship at the Toronto International Film Festival where she oversaw five key portfolios (Sponsorship, Marketing, Philanthropy, Online and Customer Service).

Her attention to revenue initiatives and strategic partnerships generated over $50 million in earned and contributed revenue over a five-year period as VP while simultaneously raising $100 million in capital project funding for TIFF Bell Lightbox. With oversight of all private sector fundraising for that campaign, Lori was the lead negotiator for the building naming partnership with Bell, which remains the largest corporate cultural naming gift in Canadian history, and she was the lead on a ten year campaign partnership with RBC which resulted in the largest financial sector contribution of the Toronto SuperBuild cultural projects.

Having worked with the Festival for over fifteen years, Lori also served as a member of the organization’s five-person Executive Management team that oversaw long-range strategy and growth. She also acted as Chair of TIFF’s Human Resources Committee and Founding Chair of a “Futures Committee” that engaged employees with inspiring opportunities with visionary thinkers from outside the sector.

Prior to joining TIFF, Lori worked as a fundraiser for the Canadian Opera Company, the Guelph Spring Festival and the KW Symphony.  She holds an Applied Studies BA from University of Waterloo.
